Thanksgiving & Wiesbaden Christmas Market!

We originally had planned to be out of town for Thanksgiving this year on vacation in Sardinia. Kind of last minute we decided to just stay home and visit a bunch of Christmas markets which has been SO much fun. Well, that meant that our Thanksgiving plans ended up being kind of last minute, too. It was a lot of fun, though! We had a few friends over, enjoyed some great food, and played a fun game!

After all that fun there was still even more to come! We ended up all going down town to the Wiesbaden Christmas Market. We’ve been to quite a few Christmas Markets now and I think that Wiesbaden is still our favorite. Not to mention that we are so ‘seasoned’ that we have our favorite booth to get gluhwein and waffles from.

Us & a couple of our friends at the market! πŸ™‚

Representing Puyallup in Germany! We all went to junior high school together. Unfortunately the guys didn’t have the luxury to attend as good of a high school as I did. πŸ˜‰ Go Jags!

Bug riding on the double decker carousel!

Chocolate waffles from our favorite stand! Yum!

This is one of the entrances to the market. πŸ™‚

Love our big, beautiful market church down town. πŸ™‚

The girls were SO tired and full of turkey they fell asleep on the drive down. Princess stayed asleep most of the time we were there.

My princesses the night before Thanksgiving. πŸ™‚

Love them to pieces!

I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving! πŸ™‚

The day after Thanksgiving (Friday) we visited Strasbourg, France which was so much fun. I will share about that trip tomorrow. Unfortunately it ended on a bad note… Bug came down with a stomach bug and it looks like we are all slowly following after her. Sad day! At least it came towards the end of our vacation!
